Modern Kitchen Remodel
in Poway, CA

This full kitchen remodel balances clean geometry with warm, natural tone. Flat panel cabinetry in a mid-tone wood grain sets a cohesive foundation, paired with matching white stone countertops for a calm, continuous read across the perimeter and island. The backsplash is white tile in a crisp stack bond, keeping lines precise and letting the millwork lead.

The cook wall is the focal moment: a recessed arched niche frames the glass cooktop, while a hood in a warm, copper-toned finish ties back to the cabinetry with a subtle sheen. Modern sconces flank the niche, adding layered light and drawing the eye to the tile field without clutter.

Over the island, a cable-suspended linear fixture provides even illumination with a light touch—present but not heavy. Storage and workflow are supported by a walk-in pantry, and at the far end a waterfall-edge peninsula turns down to form a refined seating area for everyday meals and conversation.

The result is a composed, high-function kitchen: disciplined detailing, precise tilework, and modern lighting, all warmed by wood and an elegantly framed cook zone. Clean, cohesive, and easy to live in every day.
