Del Mar - Bathroom Remodel with Blue Honeycomb Tile and Sloped Ceiling Shower

This bathroom remodel turns a challenging envelope into a feature. The sloped ceiling shower is wrapped in glossy white subway tile, keeping the lines clean and bright while drawing the eye up. Along one wall, a built-in bench is fully tiled into the surround so it feels like part of the architecture, not an add-on.

On the floor, blue hex “honeycomb” tile brings in color and pattern, transitioning seamlessly into a linear drain at the shower entry. That detail keeps the look streamlined and modern while quietly showcasing the level of planning behind the layout.

A rain shower head paired with a secondary shower arm completes the experience, offering both a spa-style overhead soak and a more traditional spray when needed. The result is a compact, highly functional bath where smart tile work, thoughtful drainage, and a calm palette come together in a distinctive custom finish.
