Hardscape and Artificial Turf Installation
in San Diego, CA

This backyard remodel centers on artificial turf and a simple paver hardscape to create a clean, low-maintenance outdoor space. A broad turf area provides year-round green without irrigation or weekly mowing, while a few thoughtfully placed trees introduce scale now and future shade as they mature.

A compact paver landing anchors the layout. From there, a short run of paver steppers leads to a small pad sized for a café table or casual seating—an easy destination for coffee, reading, or a quick meal outside. The circulation is straightforward and the zoning is clear: soft surface for everyday use, durable pavers where chairs and foot traffic live.

Materials and lines stay tidy so the yard feels finished but not overdesigned. The result is a modern, low-water landscape that’s simple to maintain and easy to enjoy: artificial turf for consistent color and comfort underfoot, a modest set of pavers to define gathering space, and just enough planting to keep the composition grounded.
